  I feel a little conflicted writing this review. First the positives - the menu is excellent and the flavours and serving sizes are exceptional. An interesting observation from my wife after last night's meal "It was okay but I wouldn't go there for an anniversary or other special occasion." I guess that sums it up. I understand the need for profit as a business but being made to feel like we were racing against the clock to order and eat is entirely not in keeping with a relaxing night out. The wait staff are enthusiastic but over-bearing, hovering at the table while we make our selections and repeatedly asking whether we'd decided yet. Another disappointing aspect is the lack of space, we were packed in like sardines with barely any space between tables, so little so that to get up away from the table your chair plays bumper cars with the chair behind. The atmosphere is also now lacking. I can harp back to the 'good old days' under Carlo and Ernesto's stewardship but that kind of service is from a bygone era. Next time we go out as a family I will steer the conversation to other options. But as I said, the food and portion sizes are fantastic, just don't expect a fine dining experience even though that is what the prices reflect. Ciao!

  While the food was good, the service we got today was extremely poor from our waitress. This was the total opposite to our previous visit when the service staff were warm, friendly and attentive. Today, the waitress was cold and disinterested to serve us. She literally threw the kid's menu in front of my daughter as she walked past our table. When it came to taking orders, she rattled off the specials and didn't repeat the orders. Also, with kid's meal, she did not ask about the drink option neither did she inform us there was no activity pack in stock when the order was placed. I had to ask later and then she said there were some colouring in sheets instead. I wanted to believe this was just here lack of people skills. However, that was not the case. It was disappointing to see her give the table behind good service. Their kids got colouring in sheets upon arrival, she sounded friendly and even asked them if their food was fine. We got none of that. In fact, she never stopped at our table again. We too chose to ask other wait staff walking by for anything else we needed the rest of the evening. Those other 2 wait staff were just perfect. I'm sorry to have give such low rating, but I believe the management should take some responsibility for hiring someone who blatantly shows double standards.
